Judy works with clients to increase their fiscal knowledge, execute capital projects, strengthen operations and plan for the future. She specializes in nonprofit and community-minded clients.
Judy has more than 20 years of experience as a nonprofit finance professional and advises clients on a range of fiscal, planning and operational topics. She is experienced in training executives and board members on financial topics that nonprofit leaders need to understand to make sound decisions. Judy believes that finances can be fun!
Judy served as the Director of Finance and Operations at Milwaukee’s Urban Ecology Center for 18 years. She oversaw the financial and physical aspects of the organization, including facilities management, land restoration activities, technology and equipment. During her tenure at the organization, she oversaw a 20-fold increase in the organization’s operating budget from $200,000 to $4.6 million annually.
Judy is a Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional through the National Association of Nonprofit Accountants & Consultants. She received her Bachelor of Science from Knox College in Economics.
Judy has been honored as a United Way of Greater Milwaukee Emerging Leader (2009) and as a 40 under 40 awardee by the Milwaukee Business Journal (2014). Outside of work you’ll find her teaching and studying taekwondo, trying to outwit the slugs in her garden, cooking, playing games and enjoying the outdoors by hiking, backpacking and biking.
